15 Days With The X140e

During the last holidays I took with me the Thinkpad X140e as "the machine".
Even tho I had used extensively since I got it in mid 2015, I've never used it day in day out as the main rig for such a long time.
I have to say that, except for a couple of times when the little lappie chocked for a while loading on a website or two, it performed like a champ.
The damn thing is tough, really built like like a tank, typing on it is pure pleasure.
There are a couple of -I'm pretty sure- software related bugs that pop-up pretty often, sometimes the Unity launcher refuses to execute a Nautilus instance, pretty, pretty annoying.
There other one involves hardware, but I'm not sure it is a total failure, sometimes, after a booting, the the clit mouse and the upper two buttons doesn't work, but the track-pad and the two lower buttons work A Ok.

Holidays With The GF (Are Over)

Well, fuck, what can I say... Holidays are over...
Back at home & working.
But, things were pretty smooth with the GF, we had an amazing time, we didn't fight (not even for music) and enjoyed the shit out of Miami.

91K and counting!

Jumping the thousand this time took a while...
But, here they are... This thousand notch includes a shit load of music from the GF, and that was listened while driving around Miami.

The best god damn sneakers & sandals in the whole world!
My third pair of sandals, and the third pair of sneakers I have.
I have to say that I love waht Keen makes.

Paper Nirvana

I finally got this!
I was lusting this book for years!
Luckily it finally in print on a small, not so heavy edition, one that can be easily transported back home on a carry on luggage without paying a lung and an arm.
Come to think, this is the first real paper book I got in years...

All LEDs And No (Linux) Joy

So, the GF got a nice Bluetooth speaker, the Jam Trance Mini -she got a nice deal on Best Buy, BTW-.
Thing is, the little MF doesn't work on LInux...
It does pair without any issue, but the thing doesn't play any sound at all...

A Celebration Of Life

 Celebrating an anniversary with the GF, with the world's best cheeseburgers: Five Guys.
I've waited over a year for one of those, it was the first time for the GF to taste one of those magnificent cheeseburgers.
Looking back, i should taken those out ot the foil wrapping for the picture...
