Some More QT

And so, just like that, we all made it Ok thru the quarantine.
We finished it with flying colors -that is without CV19- last Tuesday, but now the whole country is on quarantine, at least until April 12th.
So, time to wait and see where the effing hell this whole thing goes.

So Far So Good

7 days of quarantine.
None of us has any sign of being sick with Covid-19.
7 more days of this quarantine to go, but nevertheless, the whole country is on lock down.

Vacations Are Over

And in the most harsh of ways.
Covid-19 chased us, something didn't even exist (so to speak) when we planned and booked our holidays, sometime during August 2019.
We barely got out of Miami, luckily, booked our trip with a return to Argentina on March 15th, the last day with allowed flights.
We are in Buenos Aires now, on a 14 days quarantine.

They were from a supermarket (the stew as well) which is a big no-no back at home.

Sunday Lunch Hot-dogs

A fast and delicious lunch, on our first day of vacations.
A couple of hot-dogs -that, BTW, were amazingly fast wolfed down- these are the ones that we dearly love with the GF, the Jumbo Franks from Publix and they have to go with the Potato bread.
I don't understand how something that stupid can be so delicious.

We got here today, really, really early, the day was clear and cool, specially compared against the swamp that Bs. As. is going to be this next couple of days.
Travel, Corona Virus not withstanding was really quiet and peaceful.
Will see how this whole thing goes.

Band of The Gentrification

So, last night the GF and I were watching "Band of The Hand" (she obviously loves me), a re-watch for me (saw that one on a theater when I was a kid) and we were chatting and bullshitting about the settings, and how much did Miami changed over the years.
Well, I wanted to see if I could locate the locations, and according to a comment on IMDB's Trivia page of the movie, they used the park on Collins and 2nd Street, exactly here.
It turns out the Band's house is no longer there, but the building right on the corner is there, as well as the park, and the other building on the opposite corner.
Effing unbelievable how much that part of Miami Beach changed.

And just like that, with a Friday night flight to Argentina, they are over.
