Saturday Night Asado

Well the weather was good, actually, it was (is) scorching hot, but no rain, so, asado on a Saturday night once again.
And this time, ti was for four people, not just the GF, so, a lot of fire was in order, as well as lot of vegetables and lot of chicken and meat, not to mention lots and lots of sweat as I was BBQ'ing the whole thing.

Saturday Night Extravaganza

Saturday night it rained, so... No asado...
We ordered from a local restaurant, a truly magnificent milanesa napolitana, for the dessert, the GF made flan and damn me if that wasn't amazing. 

The first picture is the making of the flan as they got out of the oven and the last one is the final product.

After a truly scorching Saturday, it was time to make the second asado of 2021...
The first one was the one on Friday.
An amazing bife de chorizo, pictured with potatoes and carrots, not pcitured (already eaten) chorizos and about to be gulfed down, a provoletta.

And just like that, we say 
Fuck You to 2020" with a wonderful asado.

 An amazing and cool Saturday night deserves a great fire and its subsequent asado.
Chorizos, some veggies, a provoletta and bifes de chorizo.

A damn good steak and some Chinese vaggies on the side, all lovingly made by the GF on a scorching Saturday afternoon. 

Saturday Night Asado

 

It was a chicken night, and boy oh boy... I had to BBQ a whole chicken, wings and chicken breasts along with the usual vegetables (potatoes and carrots).
Amazingly good but, damn it it took a shit load of time to cook that MF chicken...

Specially good and quite yummy after a dust and windstorm.

Saturday Night Pasta

Yeap, once again... Pasta back on a Saturday night...
It was supposed to rain, and rain a lot this Saturday, so we made different plans with the GF.

A magnificent piece of meat, specifically a bife de chorizo alogn with potatoes and carrots, not pictured but also enjoyed a lot a provoleta (not pictured) BBQed with a slice of orange... One of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

Yes, Saturday, that's right... Pasta on a Saturday night, and a packaged pasta too... The only thing that saved the day was the amazing GF Stew.

Sunday Night Pasta

Yess!! Pasta on a Sunday night is back, dude!
Amazing, truly amazing Sorrentinos with the GF Stew (at last!!!!) and grilled cheese.
Nothing can beat that combination.

An amazing bife de chorizo for last night asado, alogn with potatoes and carrots.
Not pictured were the chorizos, chicken breasts and chicken wings that went along to the fire.
Incredibly delicious.

Saturday Night Milangas

 

This time, not lovingly made by the GF, but delivery from one of our loved joints.
Also, since Last night rained, we didn't plan for an asado either.
Nevertheless we didn't lose, the damn milanesa napolitana was amazing, part of our continuing "Six Years Together Celebrations".
For dessert, the GF made a magnificent apple crumble, with salted caramel and a little bit of ice cream that was left over from last Saturday.
