Dead Soldier

On Friday my trusty Moto G4 Plus died.
Just like that.
It serve me well for a little over 3 years, but, this 2020 proved to be too much for the little cell phone.

The BDUs That Nearly Weren't

Found this picture yesterday, I was sure I've lost it.
Got those two ABU jackets on a thrift shop for about a buck, I simply love'em, the best cammo jackets I ever had. The new, digital, tiger stripe pattern looks amazing, at least to me.
The picture was on the little Nikon camera, I mean directly on the same camera, not on the memory card, found it by accident, it was there since I took the picture, on early March 2017.
The only thing I don't like about'em is that the fabric is way too heavy, but, ITOH, the jackets will last for ever and ever and ever and then some.

Yes, In The End It Was The DRM Route...

It must certainly was, so fuck me in the gutter...
Looks like Spotify finally caught up with that DRM thing, as well as the revamped website, with a more iOS like GUI, around here...
First it was in the US, but not here in Argentina, but now, it seems it is everywhere, dude...
And of course, like in the US, scrobbling to Last.fm doesn't work, so, yes, Sayonara Spotify!!!
As you can see, I can't live without my scrobbling, so sorry, and goodbye, I'll start downloading from Youtube the best themes and add those to my local music, it was good while it lasted, but given Last.fm scrobbles or Spotify, I take the scrobbling any given day!

No, It Wasn't The DRM Route...

In the end it turned out to be only one of those IP restricted things...
Here in Argentina, things on Spotify, the web access, are the same as usual.
All the DRM thing, as well as the new interface tha I saw during the vacations turned out to be just a geo-location thing...
And of course. on this plain old Spotify interface, Last.FM scrobbles work A Ok.

A "new" lappie gets accepted and included automatically onto The Collection.
A Dell Studio XPS.
Of course, it will be running Linux in the near future.

It's been more than a month since the last 1K up... Usually takes way less time to jump a thousand plays...
Well, what can I say, this time I haven't listened to a lot of music during the vacations.

On the left, my old cell phone and on the right, the shiny brand new.
The Android install from the Moto G4 Plus (the one on the right) uses 3 times more the space than the one on the Moto...
This is both ridiculous and strange...

New MF Phone

On Monday got a new cell phone.
My Moto G Third Gen works great so far, but I have the 8 GB version, and that is simply not enough.
This new MF of a cell phone has 64 GB of storage, besides, a finger print reader.

Lappies, Lappies & More Lappies!

Oh boy!!
There is no thing like first hadn experience!!
I fucking love browsing thru electronic/ computer stores, there is nothing like to be able to get your hands of amazing, brand new, sparkling hardware!
One thing that really amazed me is that 98% of the laptops being sold are either a "2 in 1" or a touch screen model.
Special side note to the amazing Chromebooks, specially the better models, with FHD (or above) display.
