Movies During The Weekend
Two of the movies were shot, IMHO, by the wrong director...
- Pawn Sacrifice
- Spectre
Long, over two hours, and I'm tired of Bond, James Bond.
But the GF wanted to see it...
- Black Mass
This one it might have been amazing (perhaps even truly amazing) if Scorsese was behind the camera.

Movies During The Weekend
- The Visit
Even tho I hate M. Night Shyamalan movies, this one was good, and pretty scary, although, as usual with his films, they are really predictable.
- 400 Days
Waste of time...
- The Green Inferno
One of the best slashers I've seen, granted, I don't watch many of those, but this one was entertaining.
- We Are Your Friends
Go figure way... Maybe I was tired, maybe it was because its a piece of crap electronic-dance-chick-flick, but, the GF wanted to see it.

Amazing Player One
The only 80's nostalgia piece missing is Sigue Sigue Sigue Sputnik ;)
I think I'll jump right onto "Armada".

I've Marshmallowed the SD Drive
I almost had, since, I've noticed that after the update, I wasn't able to access the external SD card.
It took about half an hour to do it, and so far, there wasn't any show stoppers or regrets.
Even tho during the formatting it belched a warning about the SD being too slow (see screen shots below) the whole thing finished without problems.
I'm in the process of restoring all the files that they were on the external SD (mostly music).

Movies During The Weekend
- Sicario
Mighty good one, we both enjoyed it a lot.
- The Gallows
Totally forgettable movie, a total waste of time.
- Straight Out Of Compton
It was cool, but I was hoping for more aggressive rap, given the name of the movie and the famous theme.

Game On! (And Hell of a Good One!!)
Started right away with Cline's "Ready Player One", totally intrigued by it, and convinced it was one of those Sci Fi books written for teenagers that are so common nowadays, but I'm about 40% of it and loving the hell out of the book... Seriously thinking about reading "Armada" right after this one...

Marshmallowing SD Space
The install went smooth, and things work A Ok as far as I can tell, some items moved to a different place and whatnot, the usual stuff after an update...
For instance, to disable Cellular Data, now there is an extra confirmation dialog that wasn't there before updating to Marshmallow.
The 8GB internal SD card its getting really, really cramped...
With Marshmallow there is a new option to use the removable/ external SD card as an internal one, in the process you sort of loose the internal one, but, you also have to format and marry the SD card to that particular phone.
I'm currently thinking what to do about that...

You're Plexing!!!
No problems at all, during the install nor during the setup; only thing I had to do was to change the user under which Plex runs on the lappie...
At first I wasn't able to add content (create Libraries), and I was suspecting that it was related to the fact that I have an encrypted $HOME on the T60p, but, it turned out to be just a matter of permissions and users, editing a config file and restarting the service took care of it...
The T60p streaming performance is good, haven't done a lot of testing so far, but the thing looks quite promising... Perhaps I might revive the old Optiplex for Plexing the shit out of it...
Installing it was really straight forward:
Download the deb package:
wget https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/0.9.14.6.1620-e0b7243/plexmediaserver_0.9.14.6.1620-e0b7243_i386.deb
Install the package:
sudo dpkg -i plexmediaserver_0.9.14.6.1620-e0b7243_i386.deb
Edit the username under which it runs:
sudo nano /etc/default/plexmediaserver
And re-starting the service:
sudo service plexmediaserver restart

Movies During The Weekend
- The Walk
Only thing that seems a bit strange is what they did to Joseph Gordon-Levitt face.
- Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse
Scout Leader Rogers & Augie steals the show.
