A Vampire Flick

But one directed by a maverick director, himself a survivor from the early early eighties independent scene.
Not his best picture, IMHO, but nice, with some very cool visual references (for instance, the nude couple look like taken out of a Bosch painting), an amazing night time cinematography (but nowadays every single movie has it too), and as usual on Jarmusch's films, pretty, pretty good soundtrack, the opening theme is colossal (being listening on Grooveshark all day).
Nevertheless, when it comes to vampire movies, the late seventies made for TV Salem's Lot was the most frightening thing I've ever watched.
