A Bit Of A Bad Movie Week

 

• On The Beach

Nuclear Post-apocalypse never looked that good...
Read the book eons ago, and I guess I must have seen the movie before, but it struck me how unrealistic and glamorous everything looks after the nuclear war.

• Edge of Tomorrow

I really enjoyed this one.
A mix of Groundhog Day and Starship Troopers.

• Savages

The only thing that saves the movie is the lovely sun tanned Blake Lively.

• Meteor

Amazingly bad movie, my memories of it (I must have seen this one sometime in the early 80's on Black & White TV) were far, far better of what I really saw.
The worst, by far, were the scale models, a real joke.

• Iron Sky

A total and complete disappointment.
