The screenshot from that article (as of today) is is actually a screenshot of one of my themes on XFCE Look, Mint-Y-Dark-Borderless.
Of course its a coincidence, merely a wget thing, my theme is not even mentioned on the article (nor the comments), but nevertheless it was a nice find.
