Twilight of the Timbuk2

The battered, weathered and peeled-off Timbuk2 Messenger bag; 7 years of hauling it form here to there and back again are starting to show up.
On the bright side (if you can call it that way) missing the inner layer has rubbed off the stiffness of the flap or cover;  ITOH the (major) drawback, besides the scruffy looks, its the fact that the bag it is no longer water resistant.
For serious business meetings I'm using a backpack, the peeled looks are definitively out this season.
